This is yet another variation of the 55 gallon poly drum design. It didnt really make much sense cutting a 55 gallon drum in half and only using one of the two halves. So I designed a way to incorporate both halves into a single and compact design. This design is still compact enough to fit inside in a garage or basement and yet it can provide you with about a 50 gallon fish tank and 12 sq ft of grow bed space.
Another nice aspect of this design is that it is very versatile. As you can see from the pictures below that there is quite a few ways to mix up the design of this system. If you want to set one bed up as a media bed and the other as DWC raft it can be done with pretty minimal work. Of course there will be some addition plumbing and some slight modification to make that work but Ill let you work that out, I dont want to take all the fun out of building your own system ;).
